Stories and information about the coronavirus pandemic are all over the news – on our Facebook and Twitter feeds, newspapers, and TV. Businesses, especially small ones, are closing and laying off workers. Families are grappling with how to take care of and educate children who are now home full time. Hospitals are running low on beds and equipment to treat the sick. All of this while many people – nonprofit staff, healthcare workers, grocery and pharmacy staff, and farm workers – are still working on the front lines to keep our communities running.
United Way is addressing many challenges, but new problems arise every day in this rapidly changing environment. We can't let community members suffer in silence. We need your help to see the problems in your community before they hit the news. Tell us how you and your community are being affected by coronavirus. What problems are you seeing on the ground that aren't being talked about yet?
